How is this compared to the asus and AOC 24” monitors?On paper it’s got 165Hz and a brightness of 320 nits instead of the 144Hz and 250 nits of the other two.

I broke my 144hz LG monitor while moving some of my stuff around, I don’t care for it enough to replace it with a better one or the same model, and I see sceptre has some nice looking curved monitors. Anyway, - (tl;dr at the end) So I was losing my sanity shopping for PC parts on black Friday, when a post on r/buildapcsales came up - "30 inch UW 200Hz curved monitor for 230$".

It's supposed to be 165Hz through display port and a brighter display at 320 nits instead of 250 for the AOC and ASUS.Ya I have the Asus one and it is noticeably darker than my VG248, though I can't speak for the AOC or the Sceptre.Should I go for this or for one from Viotek? A monitor with HDMI and DP would work best for me, but I had trouble finding them within my budget.I have the sceptre 24 inch curved 144hz monitor and it works fine so far.Idk i have the e255b-1658a and asus vg245h... without fucking with the setting the sceptres fried my eyes so bad i cant even make adjustments because my eyes feel so fucked up... i dont use blue fliters on either of them so mayby jts the back light idk but this is just my experience the vg245h has been awesome....for xbox atleast i dont pc gameEdit: just remember with sceptre, "anothers mans trash is another mans treasure."

I've seen more consistent reviews from Viotek but much more products from SceptreWhich is the one from viotek?

Pixio seems to be the brightest at 350.

Not sure about their stands or interface, but with sceptre i’m just concerned because it doesn’t have the best reputation for monitors. Also if anyone has any monitor suggestions that are 1080p, 24" or 27", bezel-less, and preferably has either 2 HDMI ports or an HDMI and a DP for at most $160 let me know. This one might have Freesync 2 (w/ HDR). I ordered one earlier with an expected delivery date of June 26th.

Will retail for $400 while the Sceptre is $300. I believe the 24 inch AOC monitor that floats around this subreddit has a 3 year warranty.

Both companies don’t really have great reputations in the monitor world, but with sceptre it’s a new product and i’m optimistic about it.At first glance the sceptre beats out all three at 165Hz.

The Sceptre definitely has worse colors, but tbh I haven't tried messing with them too much. I'm looking to either get a 24" or 27".

Then I checked my display settings and it was on 60 Hz. I have it set at 50% so pure guestimating it's probably how bright the Asus can get?Forgot to post price on the last post, but this seems to be a fairly new monitor. They did restock but for a delivery date of late June. The monitor is still thinner than my old monitor that didn’t have built in speakers.Speaking of my old monitor, it was only 60 Hz.

I’m taking a leap and getting this Sceptre, Amazon’s return policy is pretty forgiving so I don’t mind trying it outI have both this and the ASUS 24" that keeps going out of stock. There's not many reviews on it but it seems to be the same panel as the AOC 24G2 and the ASUS VP249QGR. EDIT: So from what I've been reading Cooler Master also has a 30" 2560x1080 200hz Freesync monitor in the works. If anyone has any experience with Sceptre let me know, good or bad.
