how high above a toilet should a shelf be hung

At what height should I hang a shelf keeping in mind being able to display items on the buffet as well.Hi Rose! All I would have to do is cut it, nail it, and fill the nail heads and I’d be done. Why would one shelf warp when the others were fine? The shelves are loaded with towels and sheet sets I didn’t know where to store before. Am I the only one like this?Anyway — here’s the finished shelves and despite the challenges (polite way of saying mistakes :-)) I am very happy with how they turned out.

Ha! I'd love to see art work on that wall, either one bigger piece or two smaller pieces stacked on over the other.

NOTE: measure both the back corner where the shelf will go as well and the front edge before cutting lumber. Since we have painted and upgraded the house a little, I have been very careful with making the right choices for hanging things on my walls. I might have considered mounting cubes on the wall or a closed cabinet.

I'm not sure marble shelves are the way to go either. Medicine Cabinet Conceal medicine, rubbing alcohol and any other items you want to keep hidden away in a medicine cabinet. The supports and the shelf over them and of course trim.
