In my opinion its not up to Frank Price's version. The episodes now focus on each of the individual characters and although the jovial interaction between the old crew is gone it works just as well. These plots are so stupid.

The directing, both acting and filming, are extremely poor quality and it seems as if the director was trying too hard to fit in with the "world's style/scene" resulting in very bad plot/acting/filming it's hard to understand which direction the episode was going. So if you are looking for the last series if The Virginian GREAT but if you want it in a high quality case ugh THERE IS CLEARLY A REASON WHY THIS WAS NOT NAMED "THE VIRGINIAN."
