I finally looked them up and the insul fleece has stuff in it like insul bright but isn't as good, what ever that means.

For example, insulbrite only uses 6 1/4% metalized polyester whereas Insul fleece uses about 20% of aluminum to create its heat resistant format. yes, it is. Now I know why my insul-brite potholders don't provide enough protection. so i ordered some insul bright just to be on the safe side.
I have used insul-bright in pot holders, and have not noticed any difference in which side goes where.
