solo skiff vs bote rover

Came across this Bote Rover video.... there is a lengthy post on another board with a few guys who have purchased the Rover, it's also now available in te Gator Shell material as an option. I don't know enough about the other boats to offer an opinion on them. Unfortunatly I am with 3 kayacks. Overpriced but they are cool. Can you also tell us the weight difference?I don't know why someone from Bote doesn't come on here and answer some of these questions. There’s a big difference. Can be paddled like a SUP Paddleboard. Of all the small craft that I’ve owned the Solo Skiff hits the sweet spot for motoring and paddling. concerns me....would love to hear peoples opinions or experiences.

Years ago, we had a rotomolded dingy for our sailboat and it got damaged and we were told that you couldn't repair rotomold. I initially was looking at pedal kayaks like the Radar or Titan, but now I am interesting in these motored 'yaks' like the solo or rover. They did a video down in venice with them a few months ago While I don't have the rover, I own a Flood SUP and it has been enjoyable.

Just concerned how durable fiberglass hull is especially in shell. Go with a 5 or 6HP. Will it simply wear you out within a 1/8-1/4 mile of paddling?Thanks for the update. No I have a question about rotomold as it relates to the Solo Skiff. I assume the inertia of 100 lbs going from say 35 to 0 would make that dangerous. Can be paddled like a SUP Paddleboard. There is no comparison stability, speed or range wise.
