Borax -vs- Sodium Percarbonate? It's annoying that it has two generic names until you discover when purchased as soda ash, it is much cheaper. I have had oxy bleach out colors so I use 20 mule team borax in my colors. Was thinking it should say Sodium Carbonate on it. Same thing: white powder known as oxalic acid.

You can buy the 100% stuff in bulk several places on the web. It looks, smells and feels just like Super Washing Soda because (ready?) It is a highly concentrated powder that releases hydrogen peroxide. I picked it up and looked at the box, it says sodium tetraborate decahydrate.
