Except that it ends bad (but not really bad, like... good), t'was real funny. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. The ending is not totally obvious either, which is feat for a kids film. Megamind, the world's most brilliant supervillain, suddenly finds himself with no purpose when his archnemesis is actually killed in the throes of one of his botched evil plans. But underneath it all, there is an endearing story that has earned this movie its' place in the "Classic" hall of fame. What if the villain wasn't such a bad person who just wanted some love? My daughter likes it as much as I do :) Mostly because I like the humor of the film and the really creative role-swap where the good guy dies early int eh film and the bad guy gets super-bored becuase he has complete control with no opposition.A fun movie with a subtle message and excellent animation and plotReviewed in the United Kingdom on September 21, 2019 Please try againQuickly browse titles in our catalog based on the ones you have picked. The movie went in a lot of directions I wasn't expecting out of it (and that's a good thing in this case)
For any body who hasn't seen Megamind (is there really anybody out there who hasn't?) There are a number of Superman references, and the Lois-Lane style heroine is a little too similar to the heroine in "Monsters vs Aliens" and "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs", but this is a small gripe. It has a positive message and a clever storyline: what happens if the baddie beats the superhero - what does the baddie do then? The supervillain Megamind finally defeats his nemesis, the superhero Metro Man. Took me ages to get the melancholy bit! It focused upon the villain Megamind (Will Ferrell) instead of the hero. This is the most original take on the superhero idea since "The Incredibles". I've seen the 'underdog rises' story so much that I usually find it boring but I was really rooting so much for Megamind! I think Will Ferrell was a brilliant choice to voice Megamind. everywhere, everydevice, and everything ;)We will send a new password to your email.
