If you like movies such as Scarface and The Godfather, then this is a good movie to watch within that genre.
A small-time rancher agrees to hold a captured outlaw who's awaiting a train to go to court in Yuma. Lucas outplays all of the leading crime syndicates and becomes not only one of the city's mainline corrupters, but part of its circle of legit civic superstars. Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe are without a doubt the glue that hold this picture together. The story is more captivating than i expected i must say, following Frank Lucas(Denzel Washington) - the afro-American drug lord who raised above all, even the Italian mafia - and Richie Roberts(Russel Crowe), the honest cop in a city full of corruption, sort of Frank Serpico but with less guts.
