I appreciate it. Even with an et45 and a 245, with a 9.5 on the sedan you're going to rub if you're really low.I've got 225/35/19's on a 9.5" and it is STRETCHED!
C5Union - Est. The oem rear 2002 oem wheel is a 17x9, +56 offset on a 255/40/17 tire. 245/35/19 on a 19x9.5... Guest-only advertisement. I am running 225/35/19 on 8.5"in the front and 235/35/19 on 9.5" in the rear, it has a mild stretch but I would say its far from unsafe and will never reach its limit. Thread: Stretch tyre look for 19x9.5 & 19x10.5. To contact the forum owner hit the Contact Us link. Wasnt rubbing when lowered 2.75 like in sig pic. I'm running a 9.5/19 inch wheel in the rear and te 245's work out great. 2009 - Founder. PerformancePlusTire.com is one of the leading wheels and rims sites around. Thread Tools. The front rim will be a 18x8 running a 215/35/18 tire and the tire is pretty thin already to give me the maximum drop. Could still go about .5" lower in the rear before I would need to roll. They have a slight stretch to them, and i don't rub at all on H&R sport springs even under a full load. I'm thinking about a 18x9.5" rear rim, +30 offset for my NSX but I want a really slammed look as I have right now. Wasnt rubbing when lowered 2.75 like in sig pic. On a 9" wheel, a 255 tire will give you a flush fit without stretching the tire. A 245 would make it a bit better, but you might want to look into just getting a 8.5" front with a 235 and a 9.5" rear with a 255 to make the best fit I already have a 245 in the rear and it rubs, dont you think that going a size bigger with the 255 would make it worse? The Bridgestones generally have a narrower footprint than other's in the same size. 02-25-2007 11:41 AM #6. So if you got the same tires as me in a 275 then it would be stretched even more.
and what size tyre is the stock tyre? Do you have the sport package? I don't recommend these sizes because the front rubs (it's because the tire isn't stretched enough). Discussion Starter • #1 • May 27, 2014 (Edited) I'm looking for some tire suggestions from those of you who are pushing the boundaries of fitment with wide wheel setups. I have the fenders rolled and the tires still rub. It doesn't sound right that a 245 tire is rubbing on a sedan, with rolled fenders @ ET40.I say get used to the rubbing unless you want to change wheels or raise your car. Do you have the sport package? My wheels in that pic are 19x9.5 and 19x11. 9.5 is a rather odd wheel width when it comes to mustangs, but that's not to say you will have any problem with mounting or finding tires for them. I dont think a 305 will be too big on a 9.5, it just won't mount flush to the wheel. 2.2" drop. 255 front and 285 rear.
I obviously need a smaller tire either in width of height.Putting a 235 size tire on a 9.5" wheel isn't the best of ideas because that's just a really small tire per wheel.
Anyone got any more pics to see how stretched it is?For my staggered 19" BBS RS-GT setup I'm running the following tires:A forum community dedicated to BMW E46, E90, and F30 owners and enthusiasts. If I do you can see my current setup which is a 18x7.5 +34 with 215/35/18 and a 19x9.5 +29 with 275/30/19. The 235's will work, but The tire stretch will be way to aggresive for that size wheel. It works though.I am running 225/35/19 on 8.5"in the front and 235/35/19 on 9.5" in the rear, it has a mild stretch but I would say its far from unsafe and will never reach its limit. To add more camber you will have to go get it re-aligned and specify the degree of cabmer you want. I bet if you had a 245/35/19 it wouldn't rub. Register or Log ... i have 245 on 9.5 its slightly stretched, 225 (F)and 235(R) stretched alot and will sure fit the a4 with your drop, imo... -Andrey. Both the front & rear are nicely and squared off but it rubs the front fender liner (rear has no issues).
?The 245/30's is the at to go. They have a slight stretch to them, and i don't rub at all on H&R sport springs even under a full load.
