I lived there for the first 3 years (now living in south philly because I found a better apartment for an astronomically better price), and I never really had any problems. I'd hate not to get in this cycle and always ask myself "what if I applied to more schools? So now I'm panicking thinking I just blew all of my money on schools where I stand about as much chance of winning the lottery as I do getting into them.I wouldn't call it a waste.
