Turned off, changed bag, checked filters, checked hose and pipe for blockages (turned on without pipes fitted). We replaced all the filters with Miele filters and checked to make sure they all snapped in properly. Do not use the vacuum cleaner if the mains cable is damaged. I tend to visibly check the bag. You may have more dog hair in the main hose. We have checked for hose blockage and changed the bag(yes the bag was full) - but the red light continues.Any ideas? there is a wee handle at the front of the machine and you use that to open the whole top section.My indicator plays up like this.
I haven't looked at the bag itself yet as I haven't worked out how to yet!, but there is no way it's full after two rooms...Check that the bag and filters are correctly fitted and undamaged and no dust can get past.I have a Meile. Discover more

We pushed the reset button while the vaccum was off, while the vaccum was plugged in but off and while the vaccum was plugged in and turned on yet the lights did not reset. Now you have got a lot of it up (unless you are plastering) there should be less in the next bag.I just open the compartment and check the bag to see if its full--if not I just keep using it.
