The outcome, however, is predictable. In a crude way, the thought/desire is given life, at least in an electromagnetic sense, and the thought-form sustains itself by feeding off the thoughts and feelings of a similar vibrational intention. Thought-forms are created when a particular thought is amplified over what is akin to a broadcast speaker in the mind, where the desire behind a thought becomes so strong and prolonged that the energy coalesces into a pattern that becomes energetically animated.

That thought will, by all means, keep you around on the face of the Earth. We see why it is difficult for personalities to change too much, too quickly as each personality is composed of a relatively balanced and interdependent network of elementals. Any combination of matter can only vibrate within certain definite limits, and if the thought-form be outside all the limits within which the aura is capable of vibrating, it cannot affect that aura at all. Think of demons as parasites that feed on addictions, anger, hatred, guilt, shame, sexual deviance, etc.

A demon is an evil spirit, or devil, in the ordinary English usage of the term. When a soul is incarnating into a physical body, there exists an oil and water effect where it is difficult for an intruding being to attach to the soul of another. If the thought-form was created through anger, for instance, the human sustains the spiritual parasite by habitually feeling emotions of anger.

The male version of the Succubus is the Incubus. To be helped, the person must use this beneficial intervention as the starting point for right-thinking and development. Our personality, whether weak and ill-natured or strong and compassionate, will activate these group elemen­tals. Good or bad, they are expressions of human creativity. Such images arise from the shaping of Mind into forms that we call "elementals". This follows from the last two items. Just as the gross material body consists of many cells, organized into a working whole, so our personality consists of a network of interdependent psycho-noetical images. In short, the ego (or false personality) can create several distorted parts of itself, all amplified in negativity due to a lack of connection with essence. The discarnate being, who is often confused or lost, may cling to another in hopes of lowering its vibrations to the density of the physical. Some spring from inside the personality, others are drawn from the out­side environment. Demons are non-human dark energy beings that are tasked by the dark forces to attach to the human race, and create as much misery, pain, and chaos as they can.

So-called demonic entities are just discarnate souls who have made a career out of luring highly impressionable or mentally unstable individuals into permitting a spiritual co-habitation. Elementals having once been created and projected, gain a material existence  of their own.

Like parasitic worms, they entangle themselves into the mental circuitry of a person (either the subconscious or the aura), and feed off the negative thoughts and emotions that originally spawned them. Every single one of our thoughts go into the astral realm as thoughtforms, which get bigger the more focus and emotion we put towards them. The mark of a spiritual attachment is that a parasitic relationship develops where the urges and vices of the discarnate human influence the cravings of the host, creating behavior that is out of character for that person.

When types of demons are classified by their domain, the demons are attributed to a specific activity such as mortal sin, knowledge, questionable behavior that some people may be prone to, or certain misfortunes, sicknesses, or addictions. But, even in this case, it is we who have the responsibility, because we attract and assimilate only those vibrations which resonate with ourselves.

Suddenly to remove either large elementals, or a collection of elementals of a like kind, can seriously de-stabilize an individual, leading even to madness. Thought-forms do exist and can become a source of havoc for incarnating souls unable to control the intensity and emotional amplification of their thoughts and desires.

We are, quite literally, talking about the construction of a form in the subtle matter of the mental plane.
