For years gardeners wanted a large, beefsteak-type tomato that was delicious, early to bear, and highly disease resistant. Celebrity: plenty of yeilds to enjoy all season, doesn't need strong support, ripens quick, taste not as great, shorter life span than beefstake, can be grown in a container.I have a celebrity with 1 tomato on it and a beefsteak that is taller than I am with 7 tomatoes so I would go with the beefsteak. I'm guessing not enough sun so I am a little nervous to offer my little guys to anyone.If you got complaints that your tomato plants were small last year but they did fine for you, maybe they were just young.
