It never really yanks you into the story, and the music is extremely loud and dirge-like, making you feel like you're watching a very tepid documentary made without much thought. Horror

A Return to Salem's Lot is a 1987 American horror film co-written and directed by Larry Cohen and starring Michael Moriarty, Andrew Duggan and Samuel Fuller.

It doesn't connect, from what I remember.

It's not the same vampire or the same type of vampire.

I think they should have got Tobe Hooper in again - perhaps he was busy. I am pretty sure there was no good actor coming out of this movie.
